Currently, we have a small corporate office in Morehead City that owns multi-franchise businesses, and have recently expanded that require several future locations. We are looking for a bookkeeper to bring their skillset to help organize, systematize, and oversee these processes, both professionally and efficiently. Strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail is required.

Job Duties

• Oversee all Accounts payable/Accounts Receivable
• Record all ACH transactions
• Experience of 3 years minimum with Quickbooks
• Input all Salon Innovations Invoices
• Save all Bills, Invoices, and rent statements
• Enter all Credit Card charges, reconcile accounts
• Reconcile all Bank Accounts
• Reconcile all salon deposits and deal with any errors
• Send cash Position Emails
• Moved funds as necessary between accounts
• Oversee all Paper salon deposits.
• Calculate, File, and Pay Sales and Use tax Monthly-save all records
• Prepare Financial statements, Send Financial Analysis emails, complete all Financial analysis spreadsheets
• Reconcile Loan accounts for accuracy (interest payments)
• Make all Journal entries ( accruals: Payroll, ad and franchise fees, CPA Entries Intercompany)
• Cut and record all dividend checks monthly as well as Tax Checks
• Facilitate preparation of 1099s ( figure out who needs them, get correct w-9s from vendors, give CPA yearly payment amounts)
• Facilitate Preparation of Personal Property Returns- (send Accountant all PPE detail, send all forms,
• File all paid-outs from Salons
• Send and track all Rent Payments monthly -maintain Rent spreadsheet
• Process all customer complaints that require a refund, send refunds for overcharging, save documentation
• Allocate Health Insurance and Make Journal entries monthly
• Send Sales data monthly to all landlords that require it

Job Specifics:

• Pay: $60-$70k
