Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of McDonald’s Data and Analytics Transformation Lead. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide deployment of data, analytics, and AI operating models, as well as leading the transformation of the Data and Analytics function. Working closely with the Chief Data Officer and the head of Data & Architecture, the successful candidate will ensure alignment with organizational strategies and market-level objectives.

GBS Global & Localized Design:

• Oversee the end-to-end global and localized organization design based on the Data and Analytics function’s Global Business Services (GBS) blueprint.
• Customize design, initiatives, and execution plans to meet market-level specifications while aligning with McDonald’s transformation protocols.

Enterprise Deployment Plan:

• Develop and execute a robust transformation deployment plan to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation.
• Supervise training, change management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation to support successful execution.

Value Realization:

• Ensure the realization of business case targets committed to during the DAA transformation.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with GBS and DAA Leadership, market and segment leads, VRO and technology teams, and other key stakeholders to maintain alignment on transformation deployment plans and value propositions.
• Escalate issues and roadblocks to leadership as necessary to facilitate resolution.

Issue Resolution Across DAA Transformation:

• Proactively address potential transformation risks to minimize business disruption or re-work.
• Resolve design deviations, timeline delays, budget overruns, and setbacks in stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15 years of business experience in data and analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related fields.
• 12 years in management roles with demonstrated experience leading and implementing transformation initiatives across geographies.
• 5 years of experience influencing and leading in indirect, global matrix-based, and virtual environments to build partnerships, drive alignment, and make decisions.
• Create and maintain an outside network for leading practices in the shared services arena.
• Possess strong, professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
