Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the Qualification and Proposal Process
Collaborate with Regional Leaders, senior staff, and other marketing team members, as needed, to create, produce, and deliver proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards, which includes:
- The scheduling of proposal/pursuit deadlines utilizing work plans, calendars, and maintaining deadlines among Business Development and technical staff
- Initiating kick-off meetings with the project teams
- Assisting Business Development and Operations in strategy development
- Identifying relevant projects and McCarthy partners to meet RFQ/P requirements
- Coordinating and collecting project-specific information and developing proposal content to meet RFP guidelines and target assignment dates
- Developing written promotional materials including case studies, data sheets, resumes and market-sector brochures
- Being responsible for final proposal product: printing, binding, and delivery coordination
- Demonstrating the ability to perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines
Provides Support for Client Facing Interviews
- Schedules interview preparation sessions including setting up the meetings (ordering lunches, preparing meeting materials and agendas, etc.)
- Participates in and champions strategy and planning sessions
- Prepares and finalizes presentations, leave behinds, and other materials
Provides Expertise in Marketing Tools and Graphics
- Assists with maintaining CRM database including maintenance of opportunities, project metrics, employees, clients, boilerplate library, project references and contacts
- Demonstrates graphic design knowledge to support the preparation of proposals
- Maintains and uses graphic templates to ensure brand consistency and best practices
Provides Coordination Support to the Northern Pacific Region
- Assists in coordinating regional client and community outreach events including trade shows, golf tournaments and community service events through McCarthy’s “Heart Hats” philanthropic group
- Provides public relations support to Marketing Director, external PR agency, and internal corporate communications department
- Assists with creation and submittal of awards for McCarthy’s projects and people
- Assists with annual business plan as-needed
- Assists with market research to support the development of regional sales and marketing plans
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
- Experience in the AEC marketing field, preferably preparing proposals/qualification statements and presentations
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications, including CRM Dynamics
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong communication, proactive problem solving, poised under pressure

For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $60,000-80,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
