McCarthy Auto Group is adding a part-time temporary receptionist to join our body shop team in Olathe, KS. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth operations in our body shop department.

Duration: Temporary position ending in July, with possibility for extension based on business needs. 

Hours: Part-time hours, flexible schedule, 4-6 hours/day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take cash/check/credit card payment from customers
• Code checks from insurance company's 
• Make cash deposits and post insurance EFT's
• Keep file room up-to-date with packets paid in full 
• Handle incoming phone calls; give status updates, schedule estimate appointments and repair drop offs, transfer calls when needed
• Contact customers with insurance assignments to schedule estimate appointment 
• Gather customer/insurance information and open repair orders for vehicles towed in
• Check in customers for estimate appointments and repair drop offs 
• Keep track of all estimate appointment appointments, walk ins and tow ins per day

Job Requirements:

• Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Must have accounting or billing clerk experience
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Mathematical aptitude
