McCallion Staffing is Hiring a Fabrication Operator (FT) Near Souderton, PA
- Consistently meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks.
- Efficiently produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards as determined by the Production Supervisor and/or Quality Inspector.
- Perform set ups and operation of the below machinery properly and safely:
- Shear
- Riveter
- Drill Press
- Strippit Punch Press
- Roller
- Disk Sander
- Portable Power Tools
- Band Saw, Table Saw, and Miter Saw
- Hand Brake
- Manual Brake Press
- Mill
- Lathe
- Trouble-shoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
- 1 year related experience and/or training.
- Must have a High School Degree or GED equivalent.
- Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions including but not limited to basic correspondence and blueprints.
- Effectively able to present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, angles, and volume.
- Knowledge of basic concepts of geometry.
- Ability to apply a common sense approach and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Forklift and overhead crane training and certification preferred.
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hrs per day.
- You will have to climb, stoop. kneel, bend or crouch sometimes.
- Must be able to lift and or move up to 60 lbs.
- Work area is hot.
- Specific vision abilities required include-close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- You will be exposed to fumes, dust and carbon in the air or other airborne particles that may require respiratory protection.
- Noise level is loud.
- Eye and foot protection are required at all times.
