We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to contribute to our finance division, an enthusiastic and organized individual who can learn and grow within our team.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for owning and managing the accounts receivable operations for the company under the supervision of the Controller. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with a knack for problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership of their work. Core Responsibilities:

• Creating invoices according to company practices and submitting them to customers.
• Manage past-due accounts and collection correspondence by reviewing files, and contacting delinquent account holders to request payment. 
• Maintain customer relationships via email, phone calls, and/or virtual meetings. 
• Research customer discrepancies and questions
• Prepare, verify, post, and record customer payments and transactions to accounts receivable.
• Supporting the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) with timely updates and reporting.
• Providing support during external financial audits and other compliance activities.
• Assisting in month-end closing procedures, such as accounts receivable reporting journal entry postings and related reconciliations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of related accounts receivable experience or similar roles.
• Ability and desire to own Accounts Receivable function.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Soft skills: Detail-oriented, strong communicator, highly organized, quick learner, excels working independently and collaboratively, problem solver, proactive, and adaptable.
