Overview

The Production Manager coordinates daily schedules and leads team activities to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner according to specification. The Production Manager is committed to leading through servant leadership and maintaining the highest standards of quality and delivery to accomplish manufacturing objectives and to satisfy customer expectations. The Production Manager effectively trains, develops, coaches, and appraises team members in a consistent manner. The Production Manager supports the One Mazzella commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth.

Qualifications

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required; some college experience preferred; trade school or military experience a plus 

Experience & Skills

• 5 years of production supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment 
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required, lifting industry strongly preferred 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Ability to communicate effectively in written & verbal forms 
• Good interpersonal skills; can easily relate to people 
• Ability to identify cost savings strategies and implement promptly and effectively 
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required 
• Detail oriented, computer skills 
• Leadership ability to ensure effective teamwork 
• Ability and willingness to adapt to and help drive change 
• Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds 
• PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required 
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
