Mayvin is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Subject Matter Expert Senior Acquisitions that will provide expertise in developing, testing, and implementing unique Special Operation requirements. The SME Senior will provide continuous support to maintain specially designed analysis tools, conduct technical continuity, and assist in transferring capabilities, technologies, techniques, and best practices to the Special Operations Command customer at Fort Belvoir, VA.

This position requires U.S. citizenship.

TS clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between government customers, contracting officers and vendors
• Provide guidance and assistance in the preparation of acquisition documentation
• Provide assistance in vendor/acquisition contractor proposal evaluation, COTS/GOTS product analysis, source selection, acceptance testing, and performance monitoring against established benchmarks
• Assist in developing metrics, tracks performance, periodically reports performance metrics and makes and implements improvement recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and technical capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
• SOF Experience
• Understanding of special operations ground tactics and techniques and/or Special Operations background with tactical ground and unmanned systems experience preferred.
• A high level of technical and engineering experience and knowledge of all aspects of unmanned systems operations (with emphasis on nonstandard and special operations assets), capabilities and development.
• Ability to work with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
