We don’t want to brag, but we are honored to be the largest fabricator in the nation for 12 years in a row. In fact, you can find MEC on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: MEC). This would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from our 2,500 plus team members. MEC is an employee-owned company meaning, what YOU do on an everyday basis impacts our success as a company.  We are also proud to be a company that is highly involved and actively supports the communities in which our facilities are located.

*  Business Process Improvements: Drive standardization throughout the enterprise on key processes such as supplier adds & changes, contract life cycle management, cost reduction tracking, price change administration, supplier portal, commodity strategy completion tracking, and supplier readiness review for new product launches – to name a few.  Utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and constantly striving for continuous improvement in these processes will be key.

*  Total Cost Management: Look for areas to reduce cost, such as: trade working capital improvements, inventory reduction through better forecasting, and ensuring price reductions are captured in deflationary periods.
