Job Summary 

Responsible for producing a high volume of quality consumer loans by exercising skill and judgment in the extension of credit to members. Access credit reports and provide counsel and assistance to credit union members in making informed credit decisions. 

Provide advice and guidance to other MEFCU personnel regarding lending objectives, policies, and procedures within the scope of the Consumer Loan Officer position.

Effectively cross-sell credit union products.

Requirements

Qualifications Required 

High school diploma or equivalent AND at least two years of experience working in a financial institution. 

Must have a high aptitude for figures and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Must be a self-starter, an excellent team player and exhibit a willingness to serve the credit union members.
