Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for truckers seeking repair services. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring driver satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them with their truck service needs

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document truck issues

- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on driver concerns and vehicle inspections

- Coordinate service appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles

- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and communicate them to drivers

- Process payments for services rendered, including cash handling and credit card transactions

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle service history

- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate

- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers/drivers

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using computer software for service writing and record keeping

- Sales experience in the trucking industry is a plus

- Knowledge of truck service management software is preferred
