We are seeking a positive and professional IT Field Technician to join the team at MAXTECH LLC Houston. The IT Field Technician assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of video surveillance systems and alarm system at customer locations and other MAXTECH owned properties.

Your responsibilities as the Security Camera Technician will include:

• Verifies system performance, maintains accurate records, and builds rapport by resolving concerns and answering questions.
• Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices. Keeps security information confidential.
• Assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of IP/Analog CCTV systems
• Assists with running Cat5/6, RG59, and low voltage DC wires
• Keeps of maintenance logs and service tickets
• Other duties as assigned

To thrive as our Security Camera Technician, you must have:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum one year of applicable previous experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude
• Superior customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-2 years applicable experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in a confident and clear manner.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• A valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel regularly up to 25%
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Ability to use tools and resources to make recommendations.
• Experience with CCTV installation and DVR programming a plus

• Must be able to work well under pressure with good organizational and project management skills.
• Requires good physical dexterity. Position will reach, kneel, stoop, bend, and rotate trunk

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
