Title - Accounting Specialist
Duration - 3 month with possible extension
Pay Rate - $28 / hr
Responsibilities -
This role will be 70% accounting support and 30% payroll processing
Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using UKG HRIS on a biweekly schedule.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy for both exempt and non exempt employees
Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments.
Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes including but not limited to; benefit deductions, 401k, HSA / FSA.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications -
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
1 years of General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, and Journal Entry experience required
2 years of payroll processing experience
Experience using Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) is a huge plus
