Maximus is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team for a mission-focused program in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse individuals across the intelligence community, directly contributing to Project Management for IC Enterprise License Agreements and IC-wide software. Primary responsibilities include editing, proofreading, and providing writing support for both technical and non-technical documents, ensuring adherence to editorial and government specifications. The position offers the opportunity to influence the development of solutions impacting strategic project/program/family goals and business results. You will be instrumental in recommending and implementing new solutions, processes, and policies to support the function's strategy and operations, providing measurable input to achieve functional/project objectives.Basic Qualifications:• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph• BA/BS Degree with 12 years of relevant experience or MA/MS degree with 10 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.• Proven experience as a technical writer in relevant intelligence areas.• Familiarity with the Intelligence Community.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with executive leadership on matters of significant importance to the organization/project.• Expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques, and solutions within a professional discipline.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
