Position Overview:
Maximus Law is seeking a diligent and experienced Case Manager to join our team. The Case Manager will be responsible for overseeing a case load of 70-100 personal injury cases from intake to settlement, including managing lien reductions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a case load of 70-100 personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case.
• Requesting and reviewing medical records, police reports, and other documents related to each case.
• Draft and file legal documents, such as demand letters and settlement agreements.
• Negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
• Coordinate lien reductions with medical providers and lienholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their cases.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation for litigation, if necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of cases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., pre-law, criminal justice, paralegal studies) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Case Manager in a personal injury law firm.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and legal procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
