MGS has immediate openings for Account Manager for SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) at Atlanta International Airport. Fluent in Danish, Sweden or Norwegian is preferred.

Objective and Essential Duties:

Management of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) airport operations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Manage and supervise all operative staff for SAS, such as passenger service agents, BSO, Turnaround Coordinator and Lead agent (counter and gates). Ensure a safety operation along with excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures that service expectations are being met according to the client agreement, through inspecting the counter and gates positions and areas, where the staff is working.
  • Maintain a minimum level of complaints and provides quick solutions when service expectations are not met.
  • Ensures all changes in services and operations (time changes, cancellations, delays and/or extra services) are communicated to the staff to make sure all positions and services are covered.
  • Promote MGS services at all times.
  • Ensures the staff training records, manuals, read & sign, bulletins, briefings, and files are updated.
  • Manage (daily) of emails and answer inquiries related to operation or customer feedback.
  • Ensure all indicators of operation targets such as On-time performance, customer satisfaction, document check, baggage handling, and passenger processing speed are met.
  • Attends airport monthly meeting and build relationships with airport authorities.
  • Create and manage staff schedule and/or any changes required according to operational needs.
  • Ensures all employees follow company policies and regulations (including attendance, grooming, uniform, and performance & security procedures). Process any disciplinary action needed.
  • Welcome new hires and coordinates “On the Job Training”
  • Keeps airline and MGS fully formed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree

Requirements:

  • Must exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English. Fluent in Danish, Sweden or Norwegian is preferred.
  • 2 year's of Management experience and Passenger Service.
