Maxim Healthcare Services is Hiring a Pediatric RN/LPN Near Denver, CO

Pediatric RN/LPN Denver CO

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a nurse to provide 1:1 care for a pediatric patient in the Federal Heights area. This patient is so sweet and in need of any nursing help that he can get. The patient is 1 year old and very alert. He is just becoming aware of screens; loves to watch bird videos and listen to bird songs. He is rolling over and tracking all movement when it comes in the room. On the medical side he has a G and J tube. He also had a trach placed recently to deal with secretions. Patient is also on a vent. Finally he has Oxygen, Nebulizers and a CPT vest in home. This is a great patient and environment to be involved with. We currently have full time, part time and PRN shifts available, so we can accommodate a busy schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
  • Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
  • Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
  • Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
  • Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or (LPN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN experience preferred, but not required.
Hourly LPN: $26 - $34
Yearly LPN: $54,080 - $70,720
Hourly RN: $36-$45
Yearly RN: $74,880 - $93,600
