The Lead Behavioral Technician will participate in training new Behavioral Technicians and supporting existing Behavioral Technicians. Additionally, the Lead Behavioral Technician may assist the BCBA with program development, goals, care plans, and other materials for clients to further develop their skillset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to children with Autism and other behavioral disorders in the home and school setting as outlined by the Behavioral Change Plan
• May help with development and creation of programs, goals, materials, and BCP for clients
• Collaborates with BCBA to help develop and create training and educational materials for use by other Technicians
• Trains new technicians; offers support and shadows as necessary
• Provides job-specific direction and guidance to other Technicians
• Serves as a mentor to Technicians when struggling with or seeking advice about cases and/or administrative processes
• Periodically takes on-call duties to answer questions and provide guidance/support to Technicians outside of regular work hours
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have completed the BACB required 40-hour training program and have an active RBT license showing on the BACB
• One years of experience providing services for children with development disabilities and/or challenging behavior
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
• Computer proficiency required
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
