Repair Service Representative
We are searching for an experienced Repair Service Representative at our Eureka facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibility:
The Repair Service Representativewill be responsible for supporting Repair Inspection with technical evaluationsand customer coordination. Theindividual will evaluate product received for repair to identify the necessarymanufacturing steps and cost effectiveness of the repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requires timely, thorough and accurate processing of repair orders received that require customer contact, whether due to a complaint, incomplete information received, or cost effectiveness to repair the product received.
Requires knowledge of materials to be cut, our rotary product line and their uses
Ability to analyze die-cutting/converting issues relating to customer converting problems and/or customer complaints.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with various RotoMetrics’ departments as well as with customers; team skills required.
Must be able to identify customer requirements and have the knowledge to recognize how best to achieve that result. Such requirements include, but are not limited to, changes in specifications, ship dates required, repair or replacement quotations, offering suggestions where applicable.
Work in the order management system, both electronic and paper to document product specifications.
Ability to use tools at disposal such as scales, micrometers, calipers
Ability to read understand blueprints/customer files
Manage waste responsibly (utilize proper containers, participate in the recycling programs)
Promote energy conservation
Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Physical requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated experience in solid die, magnetic cylinder, print cylinder and gear production is strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and customers.
Strong problem solving and computer skills are required
Education/Experience
Work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment – noise, dust, odors
Able to wear prescribed personal protective equipment – safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.
