Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions to clients across various age groups. Your expertise will be essential in helping individuals navigate and overcome mental health challenges.
Duties:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with diverse needs
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' specific concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Conduct research studies related to mental health and contribute to the advancement of the field
- Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, providing support and interventions tailored to their unique needs
- Offer counseling services within a Christian counseling framework for individuals seeking faith-based guidance
- Provide counseling services to pediatric clients, geriatric clients, and individuals with special education needs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories, principles, and practices
- Experience in conducting psychological assessments and data collection
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques
- Ability to provide psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion and empathy in working with individuals facing mental health challenges
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution
- Valid license or certification as a Psychologist in the state of practice
- Experience working with diverse populations across different age groups is preferred
