Summary

Maverick is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team in executing various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. From coordinating marketing campaigns to managing social media platforms, the Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content for marketing materials, including blog posts, social media posts, and promotional materials.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and maintain our social media profiles, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media metrics.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the industry, and present findings to the marketing team.
  • Event Support: Provide logistical support for company events, trade shows, and conferences, including coordinating event materials, booth setup, and post-event follow-up.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing marketing materials.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Demonstrated proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position the proposed solution.
  • Flexibility to quickly grasp new concepts, industries, or subject matters and adapt writing style accordingly.
  • Proficiency in managing time effectively and efficiently, especially during high-pressure bid submission periods.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to analyze bid requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, English, or Journalism preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in marketing or related field with exposure to social media.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools or software such as Adobe InDesign, Google Analytics, etc. preferred.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and background check requirements.
