Description

Maverick Gaming™ is dedicated to creating the best possible gaming experiences for every kind of player and currently owns and operates a portfolio of 27 properties across Nevada, Washington and Colorado with a total of 1800 slot machines, 350 table games, 1020 hotel rooms and 30 restaurants.

The Marketing Manager will strategically manage and lead all Casino Hosts, Programs, and events at Maverick Gaming CO properties. The position is responsible for increasing profitability by developing programs and processes that will create customer loyalty, retain current customers, and attract new customers.

How You’ll Succeed

In this role you will:

• Monitor and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment through discretionary compensation decisions based on actual loss/theoretical/frequency for VIP player segment.

• Review, maintain, and update each Host’s database of coded player information.

• Maintain and monitor all department administrative documentation including operating budgets, job descriptions, policies, and procedures.

• Analyze the database for opportunities to drive incremental revenue and trips from coded/uncoded patrons.

• Establish goals and objectives for Host’s daily outbound sales communications to current, inactive, and prospective players including phone calls, letters, emails, text, and social media.

• Develop departmental team members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, performance evaluation and corrective counseling while focusing on departmental growth.

• Provide leadership and direction for player development staff and ensure there is consistency within departmental processes/procedures between all Maverick properties.

• Generate various gaming reports and queries on a regular basis.

• Clearly communicate programs/services to necessary stakeholders, seek their support and keep them informed of changes that may impact the business.

• Consistently deliver required sales targets.

• Ensure each Host maintains relationships with VIP guests through personal contact to generate incremental gaming revenue and increased trip frequency.

• Work to utilize company resources including stadium suites, experiential events, engagement/participation marketing, cross-property selling opportunities, and existing customers to increase revenue contribution from VIP player segment.

• Assist with special events.

• Fully comply withy all applicable rules, regulations, laws & policies, and conduct themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.

• Anticipate and respond to consistently meet or exceed the needs of internal clients.

• Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.

• Identify ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.

• Keep track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in the profession.

• Develop skills to handle increasingly complex matters.

• Comply with and uphold company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.

• Politely give consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure.

• Work effectively as a collaborative team player.

• Plan and create events and community opportunities to drive awareness and develop potential customers.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous Marketing experience and knowledge that includes:

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

• 3 to 5 years of sales experience (experience in luxury brands preferred), preferably in a leadership role.

• Must be proficient with customer Point-of-Service systems.

• Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Must have excellent customer service skills.

• Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.

• Excellent networking abilities.

• Must present well-groomed professional appearance.

• Must be able to listen to and respond to visual and aural cues.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a Colorado Gaming License.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between properties and visit competitors as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific assigned tasks.

• Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas required.

• Must be able to frequently move freely about, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via mouse & keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, etc.

• Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods, prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction

Pay: $55,000 - $80,000/year
