Job Title: Program Marketer – Transportation Electrification
Duration: 6-7 months (can extend)
Location: Portland, OR

About the team

  • This contingent marketer role will be one of 7 direct reports of the Senior Manager of Customer and Program Marketing.
  • The role will focus on marketing the experience of charging for customers, events to increase interest in EV adoption, marketing management of our cost & savings EV calculator tool and miscellaneous marketing projects.

Biggest Challenge:
Anticipated challenges include adapting to the dynamic nature of marketing in the energy industry and effectively managing complex projects and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, marketing or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Marketing certification a plus but not required
  • Typically, 5 or more years in marketing, sales, project or program management in a customer-centric environment or related field; energy industry experience preferred but not required

Brief Description

  • Partner with Transportation Electrification colleagues to promote customer charging options and experiences programs and services, including client’s Electric Avenues, Annual Auto Show presence, EV Ride and Drive events, and the EV Cost and Savings Calculator.
  • Develop overall strategy and manage a portfolio of customer programs/services to achieve client’s awareness/enrollments performance goals.
  • Lead initiatives to execute innovative, creative, and cost-effective marketing and promotion plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare impactful collateral/communications for assigned marketing promotions and campaigns.
  • Manage client’s presence at trade shows and key industry events; maintain advertising rotation in trade publications as necessary.
  • Identify new channel distribution opportunities to expand reach and engagement.
  • Serve as a department subject matter expert for industry developments and trends, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and evaluate potential product enhancements or extensions.
  • Analyze complex data to inform decision-making and ensure initiatives align with strategic goals.
  • Design and implement complex or cross-functional customer service processes and procedures to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing materials, messaging, and systems.
  • Plan customer-facing marketing events, aligning objectives with strategic goals, selecting venues, planning speakers and activities, and hiring appropriate vendors.
  • Manage project budgets, review product revenue and expenses, track product performance, and analyze promotion/channel effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and integrate internal and external operating departments to deliver marketing efforts effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure product promotion goals are met; prepare and provide reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and identify opportunities for additional marketing channels.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
