Title: Mammography Tech - Mammography

Location: Maury Regional Medical Center

Position Shift: Job Share PT Mon - Friday 8 - 430

Position Summary:

Operates breast imaging equipment to produce clinical diagnostic breast images as directed by physicians and performs routine breast imaging procedures according to established standards and practices. Responsible for the performance of all breast imaging procedures, and the related patient education. Follows all ACR/FDA guidelines to conform to MQSA mandates in order to ensure the safety, accuracy, and reliability of all breast imaging studies performed.

Credentials / Education:

* ARRT Registered of Approved School of Radiology Required

* Mammography ARRT Certification within 2 Years of Employment as a Mammography Technologist Required

* High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

* 1 Year Imaging Experience Required
