Job Summary:
Maui Ka’anapali Villas is seeking a reliable and motivated Utility Worker to join our team. The Utility Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, including restrooms, swimming pools, hot tubs, hallways, and outdoor BBQ grills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards learning and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment such as lawnmower, weed eater, edger, hedger, pole saw, blower, etc.
- Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
- Rake, mulch, and prune as needed.
- Water plants and grass as needed.
- Assist in other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in operating lawn maintenance equipment and performing landscaping duties.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors in constant sun, heat, and activity.
- Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, push/pull, lift/move/carry light to heavy weight supplies and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
