Job description

Mattison Martinoli is seeking an Estimator!

We are a Commercial Finish Carpentry company, who specializes in the installation of FRP, Plastic laminate (P-lam), any Prefinished Wall Panels and Custom Paneling, we have been serving all of Washington State for the past 29 years. We work with Glasteel, Marlite, Kemlite, Wilsonart, Formica, Pionite and more.

As the estimator you will be responsible to:

  • Analyzing construction projects and preparing accurate estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements to prepare accurate estimates for interior wall finishes.
  • Material take-offs based off blueprints and specifications.
  • Utilize Bid software to create detailed project estimates
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project
  • Communicate with vendors almost daily for accurate pricing.
  • Write up bid proposals and make sure they are sent out in a timely manner to all requesting companies.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must have experience/ be able to read digital blueprints online.
  • Must be reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable with using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Blubeam Revu
  • Must be able to sit at a desk all day and stay focused without supervision or reminders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

  • Construction Estimator: 2 years (Preferred)

Pay: $49,920.00 - $58,240.00 per year
