Core Consulting is Hiring a Cost Estimator (20558-1) Near Everett, WA

The Procurement Cost estimator influences the set-up and costing of new parts being introduced to the SAP environment. The role will ensure support and documentation for the timely delivery and loading of cost information into SAP. The Candidate interact with the Supply Chain and NPI teams to help coordinate communication with various internal and supplier based contacts to gather data supporting the quoting process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to support projects.
- Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and provide support to internal managers to provide an effective interface with all departments.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations with the assistance of Central Contracts group.
Education
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Basic Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Supply Chain processes; may include materials, procurement, sourcing, supplier performance
- Understanding of contract structure, business terms and conditions.
- Works well in a team environment, highly motivated.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong people / motivational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills. Remain calm under pressure and manage through with ambiguity
- Familiar with and understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Project and MRP/ERP systems.
- Thorough knowledge of Project Management
