We believe great writing is critical to amplifying brands and driving results for our clients. If you love taking the complex and transforming it into a story that energizes audiences, this role is for you. We’re currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Copywriter to join our team based in any of our offices. The Copywriter will play a key role on client projects, working closely with our creative, digital marketing and social media teams to develop engaging, on-brand content. This writer will also be responsible for creating messaging that works hand-in-hand with visual concepts for a range of B2B and B2C clients across tech, healthcare, consumer goods and more. Projects range from social/display campaigns, websites and content marketing assets to concept statements and core brand messaging. The successful candidate will:
  • Work closely with creative and account leads to craft compelling brand stories for clients that help differentiate vs. competition
  • Collaborate with teams during brand strategy creation and campaign development phases to bring big ideas to life through compelling copy
  • Ensure all messaging is on-brand and on-mission across language, tone and voice
  • Adhere to writing style across wide range of industries, brands and audiences
  • Lead copywriting projects, including case studies, email campaigns, web copy, digital advertising, video scripts, packaging and marketing collateral
  • Work with the Matter marketing team to develop in-house content, including web copy, email campaign copy, one-pagers, social assets and new business presentations
Along with a great portfolio, your previous experience and attributes will include:
  • 2-4 years of relevant copywriting experience working in both B2B and B2C
  • Experience working in the modern marketing landscape – PR, social media, inbound marketing, content marketing
  • Conceptual, collaborative and highly creative mindset to help us come up with the big ideas
  • Possess the initiative and hands-on ability to execute against timelines
  • Experience working in an agency environment on both creative assignments (headlines, ad copy, campaign work) and long form copywriting (case studies, website, blog posts) preferred
  • Strong digital portfolio that demonstrates a range of writing styles and ability to adapt tone, format and voice
  • Superior project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proofreading capabilities to review your own work and support your colleagues’ writing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
