Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families at 377th MDG Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) in Albuquerque, NM.

• Employment Status: Full-time
• Bonus: $7500 Sign-On Bonus available today! Ask a recruiter for more info!
• Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday. Eight (8) hour shifts or forty (40) hours per week, between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Requirements: The Registered Nurse (RN) -Behavioral Healthmust have and meet the following:

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent RN degree.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Additional acceptable accreditation body includes the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
• Experience: At least 36 months of total nursing experience in a direct patient care clinical setting. Experience providing services as psychiatric nursing or behavioral health and wellness counseling for 24 recent consecutive months of direct patient specialty care experience.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or the Red Cross. Web-based classes do not meet these standards.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Additionally, certified/certified eligible by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental health Nurse with 2 years of full-time experience in mental health.

Job Summary:

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice by all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
• Perform physical exams and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Direct and supervise the care provided by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergencies.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans/actions for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services as identified in the official Task Order.
• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
