Matrix New World Engineering is Hiring a Civil/Structural Engineer Near Florham Park, NJ
We are currently seeking a motivated individual who desires a challenging career and increasing responsibilities as a Civil/Structural Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering tasks in the civil/structural engineering field through the development of a working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, structural design software and other software to facilitate the design of a variety of structures and sites, including but not limited to site structural elements, foundations, retaining walls, waterfront structures, piers, marinas, bulkheads, buildings, roller coasters, water slides, and more; Support of the site/civil and geotechnical design teams may be anticipated
- Provide engineering support on multiple and multi-discipline design projects, including analyzing and documenting critical design elements
- Conduct civil/structural condition assessments for short- and long-term assignments related to emergency or routine inspections
Requirements:
- BSCE from ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineering License
- 3-5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering
- Capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD in the development of Design and Construction Documents
