Description
The Slitter Operator is responsible for all aspects of the operation on the slitter used for converting jumbo rolls of adhesive product into smaller rolls. Operation generally involves the loading of a jumbo roll onto unwind, adjusting machine components for the specific product, slitting and rewinding continuous strips of adhesive product onto cores. The role includes inspection of the web while slitting and manual cutting of finished sets.
This position is Monday-Friday 6pm - 6am

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and moving machines/equipment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Hearing protection, safety glasses, goggles, or shields, cut gloves). This position requires the use of a respirator.
