Mindlance is Hiring an Animal technician Near Groton, CT
Job Description : *Summer Seasonal Role*
- Technician's primary responsibility is to provide basic husbandry (sanitation, feeding, enrichment) and handling of animals in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Job related experience working with animals preferred.
- Maintain and perform cage washing, housekeeping and facility support areas as assigned.
- Performing husbandry and cage cleaning and complete regulated documentation for common laboratory animal species.
Schedule : Seasonal position to provide mainly weekend support. Initial training week would include weekdays then move to a Saturday-Sunday-Monday schedule as a combination of 4, 6, or 8 hour days.
Interviews : Teams meeting
Position Comments visible to Supplier : Please note onboarded candidates will be required to have a respirator fit test completed.
N95 and PAPR. Team will provide the masks for the tests.
No medical clearances needed.
