Summary:
This is a full-time position, which is contingent upon grant funding. The WIOA Title II program is performance based and it must comply with state and federal mandates; the instructor must follow state standards and approved curriculum for the program, as well as meet the criteria as a proficient instructor. The purpose of this position is to teach general education courses and life skills (which includes digital literacy and financial literacy lessons) to adults and young adults that will assist them with their personal growth and achievement. The instructor will perform duties that are instructional and clerical in nature while delivering direct services to youth and adults. The employee will serve in the position for which a teacher or other professional has responsibility in designing and implementing educational-- lessons, evaluations, remediation plans, activities and services for participants.
Responsibilities:The following duties represent 55% of the work performed for planning, instruction, and evaluating students' growth
The following duties represent 35% of the work performed in training, coordinating, implementing student support services, and collaborating with team members, internal departments and external agencies
The following duties represent 10% of the work performed in clerical and administrative tasks
