The intern will be responsible for reviewing the Tri-C website pages related to workforce development and identifying outdated information and updating the webpages.

The intern will:

• Educate themselves on the Workforce, Community & Economic Development division at Tri-C by meeting with program managers and directors, faculty and staff, and reviewing website content from the WCED pages and course catalog.
• Complete the website training provided by the college.
• Work directly with your supervisor and their team to identify a vision for the website related to workforce development.
• Work with ICD to get a report with the following information, and update it to include additional information needed: identify all web pages that relate to workforce development through the Tri-C website. Create a database that shows the webpages, their content topics, and a direct link to each page.
• Identify the contents on the webpages that need to be updated, and update the webpages.
• Work with the Integrated Communications Department to update and/or create webpages for new programs, initiatives, etc. that are not currently represented on the existing pages.
• Review webpages of other community colleges and universities to formulate new ideas for Tri-C website content.
• Work with program managers, Deans, faculty, staff and administrators to create new content for the website. This could include text, videos, testimonials, etc.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Intern to brainstorm ideas for content that could be used for both the website and social media. Work together to create the content.
• Look at the website through a recruitment-focused lens to determine what areas need improvement on the site including what needs to be communicated differently or added.
• Web updates will be approved by program managers and directors prior to being published.
