Material Flow Systems and Conveyors is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Bend, OR

Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Outside Sales Associate in the Bend, Oregon area to join our team. As an Outside Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and building customer relationships while making Customer Contact in Person distributing Catalogs and following up with Potential Clients. With a focus on providing excellent customer service, you will be an integral part of our sales team's success.

Job Goal

Drive revenue growth by identifying and qualifying leads, engaging with potential customers, and closing deals.

Qualifications

  • Sales, Marketing, or a relevant experience
  • Proven experience in an Outside sales role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Sound knowledge of sales techniques and principles
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and Google Workspace applications
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Catalog Distributions
  • Proactively reach out to existing and potential customers to promote our products and services by Cold Calling/ In Person Contact.
  • Enter and update customer information, order details, and other data accurately and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Generate sales opportunities through lead generation and qualification.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes to clients.

  • In an 8-hour day, employee may stand/walk 4-8 hours; sit 1-2 hours;
  • May use hands for repetitive grasping (i.e., filing), pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds of equipment, and fine manipulation (i.e., carrying catalogs).
  • May need to bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead, squat, climb stairs and lift occasionally.
  • Driving/Walking to Distribute Catalogs.
  • Ability to use computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
