Furniture Sales Associate - Full time position

Bend UpStyle is looking for an energetic Sales Floor Associate with a big smile and friendly personality. We encourage a team work ethic that is both fun and productive.

Job Description:

This position entails selling furniture and decor to customers (non-commission), accepting their payment, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized showroom. The position will also be cross-trained in other areas of the business.

Position Skills and Requirements:

High school diploma and valid driver’s license

Previous customer service and sales experience required

Exceptional communication and sales ability required

High level of integrity and work ethic

Punctuality a must

Must be self-motivated and outgoing

Must be able to work well with co-workers and customers

Ability to build rapport with customers and help them through the furniture, decor, and design process

Ability to receive and process payment using computer software

Ability to learn and use inventory-tracking software, navigate websites of vendors, and make special orders proficiently

Ability to professionally utilize social media for store's benefit

Able to stand for long periods of time, lift and move furniture on a daily basis

Ability to market using social media, basic photography skills, and other online resources

A clean and professional appearance required

Duties:

Sell furniture and décor

Maintain a clean showroom by cleaning and organizing

Intimately learn the inventory to include the different lines that we carry, availability of product, and special order process

Duties related to opening and closing the store to include closing down point of sale register, running daily reports, cleaning, etc.
