Who are we?
Matchbook Learning is a non-profit charter management organization in Indianapolis, Indiana who have launched a single PreK-8 Innovation Charter School in partnership with the Mayor's Office and Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS).
We are currently the largest K-8 in Indianapolis and #10 in the state for parent choice schools. Our innovative, award-winning blended turnaround school model, the first of its kind in the nation to be offered to schools with the highest poverty rates and needs, has already achieved extraordinary results.
Now, we are excited to develop a scalable model for inner-city public education in Indianapolis. We are launching our High School, The Match, in the Fall of 2024.
Who are we looking for?
As a teacher at The Match, you will be a teacher, a project advisor and a learning facilitator. Match teachers provide targeted small-group instruction, lead whole group discussions, coach students as they work with individualized online learning tools, and collaborate with peers to ensure high levels of student achievement.
The Match provides teachers with research based virtual platforms which we believe are a key to both student and teacher success.
We believe that ordinary teachers can achieve extraordinary results when their development is personalized and empowered with the aid of technology.
Required :
At times you will be a teacher and at times you will be a student.
Preferred :
Patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt your teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of our students.
