Midstream Finance Analyst / Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Function as the primary Finance professional for Matador Resources Company’s 51%-owned joint venture, San Mateo Midstream, and Matador’s wholly-owned midstream entity, Pronto Midstream. Maintain and update corporate operating model. Responsible for generating, filing and reporting a variety of financial and operational reports. Perform analysis of financial data. Provide support to the President of Midstream, the principal financial officer, and other department heads.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update midstream operating model used in strategic forecasting, reporting, and financing activities for San Mateo and Pronto
• Preparing management, board of director and investor relations materials
• Evaluate organic and strategic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures and capital projects for existing and potential customers
• Generate yearly, quarterly, and monthly financial and performance forecast (volumes, revenues, operating costs, EBITDA and capital expenditures)
• Provide monthly report of financial statements, including a management discussion analysis and comparison to forecasts
• Jointly report directly to (i) the President of Midstream and (ii) the principal financial officer
• Provide assistance to the Midstream group and other department heads as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited College or University
• At least 3 years of oil & gas experience, midstream experience preferred
