Masters Countertops is looking for a Countertop Laser Measurement Technician to join our team! We provide complete Countertop Fabrication and Installation and are located in Wheeling, IL.

The ideal candidate should have some construction experience or countertop installation experience.

Job Expectations

• Measure jobs as scheduled daily to ensure templates are sent on time to the shop
• Use a laser system to accurately measure each dimension of a project
• Understand and perform all functions necessary to complete the laser measurement and templating of Natural and Engineered stone projects
• Communicate in a professional demeanor with customers over the phone and in person, to provide critical information to the customer concerning the laser measurement, templating and installation process
• Collaborate with Customer Service Manager, Installation Manager on topics relevant to the job, workload, and service as needed
• Responsible for meeting performance standards and following procedures related to accuracy and timely measure, uploading all measure files and photos immediately to company CRM
• Understand and follow all job site safety rules and regulations
• Adhere to strict company quality standards

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in countertop laser measurement and stone templating
• Experience in countertops installation is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Must possess a clear driver’s license
• Be able to travel to various client’s homes/businesses
• Must live whitin 20 milles radius from Wheeling, IL

Skills

• Experience with LT-2D3D Laser Templator is a plus
• Auto CAD or similar software
• Knowledge of stone products and differences in natural stone and engineered stone when applied
• Ability to travel/drive locally between projects throughout designated areas
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds)

Pay is based on experience and will be discussed at the interview. Company vehicle and expenses covered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
