MasterBrand Cabinets is Hiring a Quality Team Leader Near Allen, TX

Job DescriptionThe Quality Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with specifications and customer requirements within our manufacturing operations. This role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of quality inspectors and testers, overseeing the implementation of quality assurance procedures, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should be a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of quality assurance standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Assurance Oversight:• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with specified quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.• Review quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications, and production schedules to determine the most effective methods for conducting inspections and tests.• Develop and maintain inspection and testing procedures that align with quality assurance standards.• Monitor and evaluate the performance of production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.2. Team Supervision and Coordination:• Supervise and lead a team of quality inspectors and testers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance.• Assign work tasks, set priorities, and maintain an efficient workflow within the quality team.• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates related to quality objectives.3. Data Analysis and Reporting:• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements.• Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management and relevant stakeholders.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions based on data-driven insights.4. Continuous Improvement:• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, process optimization, and adherence to best practices.• Implement quality improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness over time.• Participate in quality audits and investigations as necessary.5. Communication and Collaboration:• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related issues and facilitate effective problem-solving.• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns related to quality matters.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.• Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, with a strong understanding of quality management systems and standards.• Excellent communication and leadership skills.• Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools.• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.• Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.Additional InformationFor nearly 70 years, MasterBrand has been shaping the places where people come together, enriching lives and creating meaningful memories for our customers.
