Master Transportation is Hiring an Outside Sales Professional Near Corona, CA

Sales Manager, Nationwide. Master’s Bus Sales is a diverse transportation company that has evolved from decades of experience in school and commercial passenger transportation solutions. Master’s has helped transform passenger transportation with a product and service offering that ranks among the best in the country. Our long-standing and extremely valuable relationships with some of the most experienced employees, suppliers, and most importantly, customers have afforded us this position in the industry. Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
Several outside sales positions are currently available across the nation immediately. As the economy reopens post-COVID, we are positioned to capitalize on sales opportunities. Looking for Commercial Vehicle Sales Professionals to increase our exposure, manage expenses, and increase company profitability.
Primary Objective of the Commercial Vehicle Sales Professional:
  • Be responsible for all aspects of a sale, including product evaluation, pricing negotiations, contract development, and ensuring successful product fulfillment and payment according to the contractual agreement.
  • Create and develop relationships with transit agencies, school districts, and private fleet operators to ensure responsiveness and eliminate competition on bids/RFPs.
  • Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory.
  • Work with DOS to grow existing business and proactively search for new business.
  • Maintain an understanding of all company sales processes.
  • Follow internal processes to properly document all activities.
  • Maintain detailed account profiles and activities and update management on account status, business opportunities, and trends regularly.
  • Forecast and track sales of existing accounts.
  • Travel and make sales calls within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote a product.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as assigned.

  • Ability to build strong long-term relationships with customers.
  • Proven track record at achieving measurable revenue goals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate responsibly and independently without supervision.
  • Able to travel when required, performing effectively.
  • Must live in an assigned geographic area.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as outstanding overall presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to prioritize time, multitask and manage a large workload.
  • Flexible, reliable, strong work ethic, dependable, team player, positive, constructive attitude.
  • High school education is required, and college level would be advantageous.
  • Minimum two years’ past sales experience or proven sales record showing successful results. (previous vehicle sales preferred).
Work Requirements:
  • Ability to travel for coverage of sales area.
  • Personal computer operation including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Daily communication with immediate supervisor.
