Master Search Solutions is Hiring a Cost Accountant (Construction Industry) Near Caldwell, NJ
- The Cost Account Supports our clients Fleet Maintenance Manager
- Attend meetings for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information needed to complete tasks associated with the role
- Complete equipment & maintenance accounting tasks for month end close, job costing, & equipment costing
- Prepare KIP reports and general reports as needed
- Assist co-workers in supporting them in the completion of their work.
- Review vendor invoices and submit them to Fleet Manager for approval
- Setup and maintain GPS units/software, along with distributing weekly reports to leadership on vehicle/equipment like idling or speeding
- Onboards new equipment/vehicle specifications and retire assets as needed
YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience in maintenance, transportation, or construction
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping
- Strong Microsoft Office (Strong Excel is a plus)
