Qualifications:

• Understanding of connectivity of datacenter endpoints such as compute and storage devices.
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud networking and infrastructure best practices.
• Understanding of network security best practices.
• Understanding of migration requirements from physical data centers to the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Understanding of network traffic flow between on prem and cloud environments.
• Critical analysis of network design for optimal network traffic flow.
• Expert knowledge and understanding of common network protocols.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting firewall configurations.
• Skilled in hybrid networking environments connecting on-prem to cloud networks (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Experience with Integration (Datacenter, O365, Oracle, SAP), Services, and Business Process Management for global solutions.
• Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete analysis of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement including but not limited to firewall, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS.
• Develop and coordinate implementation plans for integration architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
• Research and recommend new technologies to achieve improved architectural performance while effectively managing the associated costs of IT operations across the enterprise.
• Design and develop network architectures for on premise datacenters, cloud (public and private).
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, and technical and business compatibility.
• Support development of technology/information solution patterns for application of appropriate technology to support business requirements.
• Escalates technical issues to project team and leadership as needed along with insight on recommended resolutions.
• Directs and promotes continuous improvement to help the project and technical team.
• Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.environment.
