Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable records for the organization through payment application and other clerical accounting tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Schedule - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• Hybrid Role must be located in the Coral Gables, FL. Area
• Process accounts receivable transactions
• Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Perform other duties as required and / or assigned.

QualificationsExperience and Skills :

• A High School Diploma, or equivalent, with 2 years of experience in Accounting.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• General math skills, with the ability to perform accurate computations and verification of data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to operate the computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of GL coding and strong decision-making / analytical skills.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Oracle Software
• AR Analysis, research, cash application and collections

Salary Position : $50-55k Range BOE
