GENERAL SUMMARY:
Assists the ECG Lab Supervisor to plan, organize and direct the activities of the technicians and clerical support staff in the ECG Laboratory. Assists the ECG Lab Supervisor in maintaining personnel records, and generally supervising Laboratory personnel. Participates in interviews, investigates new methods and equipment for possible use in the laboratory, responsible for maintenance and servicing of equipment used in laboratory and maintains inventory for laboratory. Assumes responsibility for operation of laboratory in the absence of Supervisor Technician. Functions as an ECG technician for more than 95% of the time.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:
*Must be a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
*Current Basic CPR certification required.
*BLS Certified
EDUCATION:
*Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
*Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years Medical Assistant experience required
