JOB SUMMARY :
Completes daily production schedules to ensure on time delivery to Rapid Delivery Center (RDC).
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain reports for order forecasting, actual order trends, production scheduling, and outbound freight
- Communicate large shifts in order trends to Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
- Balance daily production schedules for efficiency and on time shipping
- Proactively identify and react to potential carrier trailer pool issues
- Review and process home center rebuttals
- Drive awareness and adherence to contractual agreements with our customers, such as lead times, shipping material requirements, and documentation requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- High School Diploma
- Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Microsoft Excel User
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross functional business teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative without daily interaction with management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
- Logistics, Transportation, Scheduling Experience
- ERP Experience with Oracle or SQL
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience in the Building Industry
