Marylous Soul Dining Experience
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and host stand
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize revenue
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as utensils, glassware, and linens
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Experience in food production or kitchen management is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Basic cooking skills to assist in food preparation if needed
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures
