Medical Assistant Job Description

Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, the Medical Assistant will perform a variety of client related support functions both clinical and non-clinical such as establishing and maintaining medical charts, obtaining vital signs and specimen collection of ordered tests, completing forms and transcribing Physicians / CNP orders.
The Medical Assistant will collaborate with nursing daily to perform medication reconciliation and to discuss patient concerns.
