About Us

We are a Small, Family-Run, and Community-Based Cafe looking to add new members to our Team! We are looking for dedicated employees that will fit our character and bring comfort, love, and warmth to our community.

Although we are small, it is often a high-paced work environment that requires experience, skill, and lots of common sense. We are looking for someone who can quickly jump into our “system”, is good at time management, can work with speed and accuracy, and can easily follow direction.

We are open Tuesday-Sunday, 8am-2pm! We would love to find a long-term, dedicated employee that can work as many days a week as possible! Open to flexibility/more part time work as well. Starting as Cashier/Barista/Other, but ideally will find a good Manager in the long run!

Your Roles

• Cashier: Take Customer’s orders with kindness, patience, and accuracy. Learn the Menu in order to answer questions and make suggestions. Make connections with regulars, and always give customers a positive and memorable experience!
• Barista: Make Hot and Cold beverages with speed, accuracy, and consistency, according to your training/manual. Serve baked goods. Keep a clean and tidy work space.
• Server/Other: Your roles will likely expand further than just Cashier/Barista. You will (when possible) be taking out orders, checking on customers, prepping, cleaning, clearing tables, and occasionally helping out the back.

Hiring Process

First contact us with your resume, and we can find a good time for you to pop into MLC for an unofficial “interview.” We would love to meet you and have a quick chat before moving forward! We will then call you in for a paid training/shadow week, and if we think you are a good fit, go from there!
