Summary

Responsible for partnering with Business Development and Marketing to: 

• Develop clinical and community relationships across our region and Michigan that result in referrals to the Mary Free Bed at Covenant service lines.
• Lead marketing efforts to ensure Mary Free Bed at Covenant is a destination rehabilitation location.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Increase referrals to Mary Free Bed at Covenant programs
  • Establish and maintain direct working relationships with key referral sources and Mary Free Bed providers, leaders, Access teams and staff
  • Drive new referrals through presentation of relevant clinical information and MFB mission
  • Ensure excellent follow-up with providers and other referral sources
  • Attend professional conferences to represent MFBC programs 
  • Collaborate with MFB and Covenant Business Development teams, MFBC Leadership, and HR to coordinate activities in the MFBC market including recruitment and educational events 
  • Utilize sales tools and prioritize time appropriately to increase business
  • Identify new service opportunities

• Assess changing market needs and referral patterns for MFBC service lines
  • Monitor and track admissions and referral trends
  • Analyze referral pattern data and changes in the referral process
• Maintain active communication with Leadership and interdepartmental teams across MFB
  • Educate Leadership and Network Development team on market changes and referrer needs 
  • Add input in the creation of sales tools
  • Work with MFB and Covenant Marketing teams to ensure marketing materials are created and updated
  • Work with MFB and Covenant to ensure social media presence is consistent with current practices and is actively updated
• Assist Leaders in the implementation of sales/marketing plans in each clinical service line
  • Adjust sales/marketing plan to meet changing community needs 
  • Assist with coordinating MFBC providers, leaders, and clinical staff for marketing opportunities 
  • Attend meetings and provide updates on sales/marketing activities for MFB programs â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Essential Job Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain referral relationships with physicians, their teams, and other referral sources
• Energy and passion for driving change
• 5 years of experience OR bachelor's degree in business, sales/marketing, allied health, or related field
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation services and principles of marketing and sales
• Ability to travel throughout the Great Lakes Bay region and across Michigan-region with primary work location at MFBC Main in Saginaw
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to work both independently and in conjunction with a team of professionals for problem solving

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Experience in marketing and sales leadership within the healthcare industry
